Date context
Why 3 September matters for the Kazakh Tazy
The date connects Kazakhstan's Day of the Kazakh Tazy and Tobet with the anniversary of the Kazakh Tazy's provisional FCI recognition. They are two distinct, verifiable contexts.
Kazakhstan's commemorative date
Government Resolution No. 278 of 15 April 2026 establishes the exact title “Day of the Kazakh Tazy and Tobet – 3 September.” It is a state commemorative date; it does not itself establish that a particular event, show, or programme is taking place.
TAZY is about the Tazy specifically. We use the full official title of the date, but do not speak for the Tobet, its owners, or its organisations, and do not turn a calendar entry into a claim of joint representation.
Two years of provisional FCI recognition
The FCI record for Kazakh Tazy No. 372 gives 3 September 2024 as the date of provisional recognition. That makes 3 September 2026 two years from that date.
Provisional recognition is not full recognition, and it is not a register of individual dogs, breeders, or litters. Kazakhstan's legal calendar and the FCI's international breed status are distinct sources and must not be combined into a broader promise.
How to describe the date accurately
For an exact formulation, open Resolution No. 278 and the FCI No. 372 page: the first establishes the commemorative date, while the second records the provisional status and links the standard. Do not replace “provisional” with “full” or treat the date as evidence of an individual dog's registration or health.
